Your last opportunity to register to win a hot air balloon ride during the Marshall County Blueberry Festival is coming to a close.

Scarecrow_hotairballoonMarshall County Tourism is sponsoring one of the balloons that will be here this weekend for the 48th annual Blueberry Festival and 20th annual Marshall County Hot Air Affair.

If you would like a chance to work on a balloon team and take a ride in a hot air balloon then stop by the Tourism office at 201 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth and register. You can also sign up on line at http://on.fb.me/1sZmNKj. The chance to win is open until August 26th and the winner will be announced on August 27th.

oggy_the_dragon_hotairballoonThe Hot Air Affair hopes to launch four times during the festival, Saturday, August 30th at 6:30 from the park, Sunday August 31st at 6:30 a.m. from Riverside School, Sunday at 6:30 from the park and Monday, September 1st from Riverside at 6:30 a.m.

Hot Air Affair is also seeking volunteers to assist the various balloon pilots with set-up, chase and tear-down. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Jim Kunze at 936-4096.
