On Sunday, WTCA rang the bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettles at Wal-Mart.  During the two hours we were there we were able to raise $352.04 for the Salvation Army in Marshall County.

Pastor Jim Irwin said they were nearing their goal of $15,000.  This money is used all year long to assist families in need in the communities in Marshall County.  Although the goal is $15,000 again this year, we must remember that they ran out of funds the end of October so a better goal would be $18,000.

There are only a few more hours to donate during this holiday season so we would like to encourage each of you to dig deep for that change or fold up a few bucks and drop it in the Red Kettles when you see them and hear their familiar bells.

Irwin also wants to remind donors that those ringing the bells are volunteers in Marshall County and that all but 10% of the funds raised stay right here in the county.
