ShopliftingOn Wednesday, May 27th Plymouth Police Officer Ben McIntyre was dispatched to Wal-Mart for a possible theft.

21 year old Camden Dutton of Warsaw and 20 year old Storm Kinsey of Bourbon were seen concealing items on their persons and then attempted to leave the store without purchasing the items.

Wal-Mart Asset Protection detained to suspects and Officer McIntyre transported them to the Marshall County Jail and booked them in for theft.   Kinsey also had a warrant for his arrest for auto theft through Marshall County.

 

Thursday morning about 10 Plymouth Officer John Weir arrested 20 year old Cody Ian Critchlow of Plymouth for theft after an employee at Wal-Mart caught him shoplifting.  Critchlow admitted to stealing over $600 in products over the past week.  He as lodged in the Marshall County Jail for theft.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
