public intoxTwo men from South Bend were arrested Thursday evening about 9 after the Plymouth Police Department received a couple of complaints.

Patrolman Tim Taberski was dispatched to the intersection of Baker and Michigan Streets in reference to the men stopping vehicles and asking for money or a ride to South Bend.  At one point a driver called in and said one of the men walked out in the street in front of his moving car and he also struck him.

Officer Pau Stamper assisted on scene, locating the subjects.  The suspects said they were walking to South Bend because they had no money or other means of transportation.

Officers determined the pair was intoxicated, to the point that one had urinated himself.  Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail where they were booked in for Public Intox.

Arrested were 34 year old Deshawn Marable and 37 year old Jastus Kiama. They were held on $500 cash bonds.
