Niblock Excavating and Asphalt is informing the Plymouth community that milling and paving activities will begin again, weather permitting on Monday, August 24. The following streets are scheduled for work:
Garro Street from Walnut to Center Streets,
Plum Street from LaPorte to Washington Streets,
Madison Street from Center to Michigan Streets, and
Center Street from LaPorte to Jefferson Streets.
Citizens are to be aware that there will be no on-street parking allowed during the milling and paving activities. Weather permitting; these streets will be paved and open to traffic, without pavement markings temporarily, by Tuesday, September 1st.
Additional milling and paving activities will be happening in Plymouth between August 24 and September 11. Additional streets getting major work include:
Marigold Court between Fairfield and the cul-de-sac,
Hillcrest Avenue from Westgate Ave. to west of Oak Drive,
Skylane from Western Avenue to Michigan Street,
Pennsylvania Avenue from Liberty to Kingston Streets,
And repair work on VanVactor Drive west of Pioneer.
All of the following work should be completed, weather and other factors permitting, by September 11.
There will be no construction activities Thursday September 4 through Monday September 7.
Niblock Excavating and Asphalt asks citizens to please observe the postings for no parking on these streets during the project and be safe and alert when travelling the work areas. If possible avoid the areas altogether until construction is completed.
