Hundreds of citizens participated in the 2nd annual Scarecrow Contest sponsored by WTCA and the Pilot News.
Businesses were invited to create a scarecrow and then the public had about two weeks to cast their votes for their favorites.
This year’s winner was the LifePlex who showed their muscle to everyone.
Second place winner was Simply Thymes Two on West Garro Street. The girls went all out and decorated both windows with old men and old women.
Third place went to Treats Squire Shop. Their cleaver display was a PHS prom-o-ween.
All three winners will receive free advertising from WTCA and the Pilot News.
We’d like to thank all the businesses that helped make the Halloween season fun with all their decorations and scarecrows and the citizens who took time out of their busy schedules to vote for their favorites.
