bus_trip_logoMorgan Koops, Recreation Director for the Plymouth Park Department recently announced the 2016 Park Trip schedule.

On January 25th they’ll take a tour of Albanese Candy Factory in Merrillville, and then have lunch at Portillos. The cost for the bus is $3.00 (residents) or $5.00 (non-residents). Lunch is your own payment.

February 22nd it’s a trip to the Blue Chip Casino.  The bus departs at 9:00 a.m. and return around 5:00 p.m.   Cost is $25.00 for residents or $27.00 for non-residents.   Cost includes a buffet voucher and $10.00 in slot play.

March 22nd the Park Department Trip will take a tour of the Annie Oakley Perfumery in Ligonier, and then they will have lunch at the Kimmell House.  The cost for the bus is $3.00 (residents) or $5.00 (non-residents).Lunch is your own payment.

April 19th the bus trip will visit the gift shops and have a nice buffet lunch from the Essenhaus Restaurant. The lunch buffet is around $15.00 per person. The cost for the bus is $3.00 for residents or $5.00 for non-residents.

The May 16th but trip it to FireKeepers Casino.   The cost is $25.00 for city residents or $27.00 for non-city residents. The cost includes a $5.00 food coupon and $20.00 in coin play.

June 28th bus trip is to Shipshewana and the Flea Market.  You will be free to visit the Flea Market and shops downtown.  Cost is $3.00 for residents or $5.00 for non-residents.

Fair Oak Farms will be the Plymouth Park Department trip for July 15th.   Participants will take a tour of the dairy portion and have lunch at the deli.   Admission into the farm is $12.00 while cost for the bus is $3.00 for residents or $5.00 for non-residents.  Lunch is at your own cost.

August 29th enjoy the Dixie Tour Boat Ride and Lunch at Pizza King in North Webster.   Cost for the Dixie boat ride is $7.00 per person, cash or check only and $3.00 for city residents for the bus or $5.00 for non residents.  Lunch is at your own cost.

September 27th it’s a bus trip to the Potawatomi Zoo with lunch at Congo Café.   Admission into the zoo is $6.50 per person.  Lunch is your own cost and the bus trip is $3.00 for city residents and $5 for non-residents.

It’s a second trip to the Blue Chip Casino on October 24th.  The bus departs from the pool at 9:00 a.m. and returns around 5:00 p.m. The cost is $25.00 for city residents or $27.00 for non-residents and includes a buffet voucher and $10.00 in play coin.

November 8th take the bus trip to the Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory with lunch at Champions. Admission to the Conservatory is $5.00 per person.   Cost for the bus is $3.00 (residents) or $5.00 (non-residents) and lunch is your own cost.

December 12th the bus heads to the Horseshoe Casino.  Cost is $25 for city residents or $27 for non-residents and includes a buffet voucher.
