DriveSoberOrGetPulledOverThe Plymouth Police Department participated in the Operation Pull Over program from November 13th until December 6th.

This program is funded by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. The program has officers working beyond their normal shift and focusing solely on traffic, specifically looking for impaired drivers and seat belt violations.

During this program The Plymouth Police Department utilized seven officers that volunteered to work the Operation Pull Over program.  Those seven officers pulled over more than 60 vehicles and made 26 arrests.  Three of the arrests were for Operating While Intoxicated and one driver was found to be in possession of 6 grams of heroin.  Officers also issued more than 60 warning for various traffic violations.
