Marshall County Police responded to a two vehicle crash at Michigan Road and Custer Drive Sunday afternoon at 12:56.
Officer Rob Hafke investigated the head on crash that sent three to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
20 year old Scott Swihart of Plymouth was driving a blue, 2008 Jeep SUV southbound on Michigan Road and told Officer Hafke he fell asleep and must have drifted across the center line. His jeep struck a silver, 2010 Honda 4-door head on. The Honda was driven by 26 year old Yuqing Lei also of Plymouth.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Lei vehicle were transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with unknown injuries.
