A Bunch of Blueberries in Marshall County announced the revealing of four more giant blueberries sculptures next month.

Bunches of Blueberries_gardenShelley Heiden said, “We have four blueberries to reveal, and we will do that on Wednesday, September 2nd.”  The blueberries will be placed at the Plymouth Airport, on East Jefferson Street at Gibson Insurance, in River Park Square and in the 200 block of North Michigan Street.

Carrolyne Babcock has been busy painting one of the blueberries at the Heartland Artists Gallery for all to see. It will be a beautiful flower garden.

Bunches of Blueberries_Larry HollowayAnother new blueberry is being painted by Larry Holloway.   The artist and the sponsor for this sculpture is Gibson. Heiden said, “We are excited to see the art become reality on the rounded canvas!”

The community is urged to remember, these blueberries are art sculptures, not toys to be climbed on, not things to be picked at or vandalized!  Art is to be appreciated by all, and if you affect one of the giant blueberries in a negative way, you are not respecting it as art or the artist who painted it, or the sponsor who paid for it and you are not respecting the community it is shared with!
