Local NewsLast Wednesday, December 16th Plymouth Police investigated a leaving the scene of an accident incident.

About 10:30 in the evening 61 year old Kenneth Murphy of Plymouth was traveling east bound on Hillcrest Avenue, towards Oak Drive when he left the roadway and drove through the side of the garage at 216 S. Oak Drive.  He also struck a parked truck in the driveway.

After the crash, Mr. Murphy continued eastbound onto Lake Avenue where he struck another vehicle near the intersection of Lake Avenue and 7th Road.

Murphy was transported from the scene to the Plymouth Hospital for treatment and a certified chemical test.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor and further charges are pending from the results of the certified chemical test.
