winter travel advisoryDue to snow Marshall County received overnight, roads remain snow covered and slick.  Additionally, the highway department is beginning to see some drifting issues on East/West roads in the county.  With temperatures and wind chills expected to be below zero later tonight and into tomorrow, the slush on the roads will freeze leading to hazardous road conditions.  The Marshall County Commissioners have made a decision to implement an “Advisory” Level Travel Advisory for the county.

An “Advisory” – is the lowest level of travel restriction used in the Marshall County travel advisory system.   An “Advisory” means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
