airport_runway_2The Plymouth Board of Aviation Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday evening.

Operations have slowed somewhat with the runway torn about for renovations.  There was some good news.  The runway widening and taxiway  project is several days ahead of schedule and they had expected find a few areas that needed major fill for substandard soils beneath the runway but for the most part what they have found is in excellent condition.  There have only been a couple of minor problems which have been resolved quickly.

Airport Manager, Dave Lattimer said, “As could be expected, fuel sales are way down with the airport being closed.”
