In mid August the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce was contacted by American Pickers, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz asking for citizens interested in having the duo pick through their treasures in our area.
One local man, decided to submit his collection as a possible filming site for the hit TV show American Pickers. On Wednesday, Wolf and Fritz and a filming crew spent the whole day on property south of Plymouth.
Not only were they looking for valuable antiques they were looking for characters with interesting and unique items. “Character” is the perfect fit for the Plymouth man who’s nickname is Speedo. And yes…..he did wear a bright yellow Speedo during part of the taping of the pick.
