Just over 3,000 visitors went through the Marshall County Historical Museum between October 1st and December 31st 2014 bringing their year end total to 7,780. Linda Rippy, Executive Director of the Museum presented her quarterly repot to the County Commissioner with many details of events and projects.
Volunteers are extremely important to the museum and in the final quarter of 2014 there were 947 hours of volunteer time served. ABLE program hours had 415 and community service by school students included 22 hours.
In 2014 there were 466 researches at the museum with many from Indiana but also visitors came from as far away as Massachusetts, Florida, Utah and California.
