The annual Argos 4th-A-Bration will be held this Saturday beginning at 10:30 with a parade. Participants are invited to line up at the school beginning at 9:30. There is no application or fee to participate, you just need to show up.
At noon a garden tractor pull will be held at the Marshall County Fair grounds and at 2 the IRPA Rodeo will be there too.
There are lots of fun things for the kids to do including balloon toss, face painting, sawdust hunt, free throw and 3 point contest, and at 2 a pedal tractor pull. Kids can play in the bounce house, try their luck at the dunk tank and try their skill at the dunk tank.
At 2:30 the Argos Futbol club PK shootout will be held followed by a demonstration by fire department personnel at 3.
For adults there’s a closest to the pin contest, cornhole tournament, antique tractor display and 50/50 drawing.
The Argos 4th-A-Bration will have vendors selling crafts and food items, but other than that, it’s all FREE.
The evening concludes with a concert featuring 4 local musicians featuring a variety of music styles. Entertainment includes The Tie Hackers Sting Band, Joey Garcia, See This Through and Tonight Only.
