Argos CoupleThursday afternoon Bremen Post troopers with the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section arrested an Argos couple after an investigation uncovered meth, drug paraphernalia and several guns in their residence.

Trooper Keith Bikowski and Trooper Jason Faulstich completed their month long investigation with the arrest of Jacqueline Houin, 54 and Tony Houin, 45 at their residence 15350 Juniper road in Argos.  Also present at the time of their arrest were two juveniles, a niece and nephew.  The children were visiting the couple during summer vacation.

Purportedly both Jacqueline and Tony had been purchasing and attempting to purchase large amounts of pseudoephedrine from area stores.  Pseudoephedrine is the main ingredient used to manufacture methamphetamine.

After a search of their residence, troopers uncovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several firearms including a shotgun that had the serial number removed.

Jacqueline and Tony Houin were both arrested on several meth related charges and are currently being held at the Marshall County Jail.  The charges include manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture, maintaining a common nuisance, and exploitation of a dependent or endangered adult.

The two juveniles were removed from the home and turned over to the Department of Child Services.
