The Argos Clerk’s Office now has “Pet Tags” available. Residents will receive their Spring Newsletter any day and will find information on the tags.
Pet tags are required for both cats and dogs age six months and older. Argos residents must bring their pets current vaccination records to the Clerk’s office. Tag will be issued priced as follows: Spayed or Neutered cats or dogs are $2. Non-spayed or unneutered dog or cat tags are $10. Senior Citizens receive a discount for spayed and or neutered pets paying only $1. The Town of Argos reminds dog owners that they are to keep their pets on a leash and clean up after them while on a walk. Pets, when outside, need to be on a leash or fenced in area on or off your property.
