Walnut Church of the Brethren at 172 South Michigan Street has opened their Swap Shop in Argos to the public.
The Swap Shop in downtown Argos is there for one purpose, to provide a safe, clean, emotionally supportive, faith-filled environment where individuals and families located in Argos and surrounding communities can share uplifting fellowship and obtain slightly used clothing and household goods FREE of charge or for a nominal donation.
If someone has clean used clothing to bring in, they can pick up a bag of lightly used clothing at no cost and swap. If they need clothing and don’t have any clothing to exchange, they can leave a donation if they like. Some like-new clothing is available for a small donation. Financial donations are used to keep the bills paid at the Swap Shop to keep it open.
Hours the Argos Swap Shop are open are, Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursdays from 2:00 until 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
