BourbonPoliceOn Friday, October 23rd at 10:45 p.m. Bourbon Police Officers Matt Geiger and Carl Amsden went to 603 North Main Street in Bourbon to serve a warrant on Joey F. Lemler.  The warrant was explained to Mr. Lemler and he denied the accusation and tried to avoid being arrested and fought with the officers.   Lemler was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the warrant with a $750 cash bond.

MugShot_ AMBER TAPIAOn Saturday October 24th at 6:30 p.m. Amber Tapia was seen walking into the residence of 601 North Main Street in Bourbon.   Bourbon Police Officer Rick Kanarr confirmed an active body attachment for her arrest.   Tapia was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on an $8,000 cash bond.

On Saturday, October 24th about 3:10 a.m., Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger was dispatched to the area of 12B and Elm Road for a male subject that appeared to be asleep at the stop sign in his vehicle.

 

Officer Geiger located Frank R. Hoffer of Warsaw asleep at the wheel with the vehicle running and in gear.  It was learned that Hoffer has been drinking and was given a field sobriety tests which he failed. He refused a certified chemical test and was then arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.  Hoffer has been charged with a  felony due to having a previous OWI charge within 5 years.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
