arrestsOn Friday April 10, at 6:10pm Bremen Police Officer Siple made a traffic stop at Birkey and Plymouth Streets in Bremen. During the stop officers discovered that the driver was suspended and substances believed to be marijuana and schedule II and III controlled substance were in the vehicle.

Heather Tolley, 29 of Rochester was incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Driving While Suspended, Operating a Vehicle without Financial Responsibility Prior, Possession of a Schedule II and III Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

Tolley was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $3,000 cash bond.

 

On Sunday April 12, 2015 at 1:38pm the Bremen Police Department received a call of a domestic fight in progress in the 100 block of East Bike Street in Bremen. During the investigation officers determined that the suspect, Christopher Hurley, 32 of Bremen had battered the victim and he was incarcerated on a complaint of Domestic Battery.  He was held on a $3,000 cash bond.

 

On Monday, April 13, at 2:30pm Bremen Officer Schnaible made a traffic stop at State Road 106 and US 6 East in Bremen. During the traffic stop he discovered what appeared to be marijuana in the vehicle. James Mitchell, 30 of Kendallville, was incarcerated on a complaint of Operating While Intoxicated, Operating While Intoxicated Endangering A Person, Possession of Marijuana and Neglect of a Dependent.  His bond at the Marshall County Jail was set at $1,500 cash.

 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
