arrests34 year old William F. Lagace of Chicago was arrested Wednesday, February 25th following a call for city police to respond to a domestic dispute at the Economy Inn on North Michigan Street.  During the investigation it was determined that Lagace had provided a false name.  Once officers found his real name they located an arrest warrant for him out of Illinois.  Lagace was taken into custody and charged for false informing and on the arrest warrant.  He was held in the County Jail.

Friday morning Plymouth Officer John Weir was dispatched to Garden Court in reference to the suspected odor of marijuana coming from one of the apartments.  Plymouth’s K9 Jax went down the hallway and stopped at the apartment door.  The occupants allowed Jax and Weir to search the apartment and Jax located a hidden box that contained suspected marijuana and paraphernalia.  28 year old Amber McNeal and 33 year old Joseph Cummins were taken into custody.

Friday afternoon Officer Derek Workman received a report that 56 year old Kevin Abraim of Plymouth has exposed himself at the Pak-a-Sak Gas Station on West Jefferson Street on February 15th.  Officer Workman was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Mr. Abraim as a result of the investigation.  Officer Workman west to Abraim’s residence and took him into custody.  He was booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
