arrests02/04/15  On Saturday, January 31st at 11:12 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Gary Cleveland responded to 222 West LaPorte Street in reference to a disturbance call.  Arriving at the residence, 33 year old Phillip Land of Knox was asked to leave the premises at the request of the residents. Mr. Land stood across the street and refused to leave the area.  He was found to be intoxicated, taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.  Land was booked in for public intoxication.

Officer Cleveland noted that Mr. Land may face disorderly charges as well after the prosecutor reviews the report.

Phillip Land was released on Monday, February 2nd with no judicial review.

 

On the afternoon of Monday, February 2nd Assistant Police Chief Mark Owen responded to 805 Baker Street after receiving a call of a suspicious male who was asking residence if he could shovel for them.   The suspect, 25 year old Jeffery Gibson of Hamlet was located. During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Gibson was wanted on an active warrant out of Starke County for forgery. Gibson was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held without bond for Starke County.
