19 year old Savannah L. Bailey of Knox was arrested Wednesday evening by Plymouth Police.
City Officer Matthew Emenhiser conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Liberty and Rex Streets Wednesday evening about 9:15. During the investigation it was found that Bailey was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Just before midnight on Thursday Plymouth Officer Ryan Richey was dispatched to 418 Charles Street for a male subject in the backyard of the home, refusing to leave. Before officers arrived the suspect left the scene.
Officers located 21 year old Jacob S. Yazel of Plymouth at his residence at 1301 South Michigan Street just after midnight on Friday morning. It was discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. Jacob Yazel was taken into custody for such and booked into the County Jail.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
