On Sunday, December 13, at 3:19 in the morning the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a pole on Union Road south of 9C Road.
When officers arrived the vehicle was unoccupied. The driver, 24 year old Aaron Vendola of Bourbon was located a short time later. Vendola was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Content of .15% or more, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
His bond was set at $1,505 cash and his initial court hearing date is December 29th in Marshall Superior Court II.
