Saturday morning about 3:45 Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger stopped a passenger car for speeding and driving left of center near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Elm Road.
The driver, Matthew Hisey of Plymouth was found to be drinking and driving. He failed a field sobriety test and a certified breath test. During the investigation it was also found the Hisey was a suspended license and was in possession of marijuana and two scheduled IV substances.
Mr. Hisey was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
