The Bremen Police Commission President and the Bremen Town Council President Michael Leman announced the appointment of the Town’s new Chief of Police on Thursday evening.
Bradley G. Kile, a seasoned public servant and law enforcement officer will lead the Town of Bremen’s police officers and personnel. Kile was appointed, after former Chief Matthew Hassel was elected to serve as Marshall County Sheriff, replacing Tom Chamberlin, who passed away after a battle with cancer.
Chief Kile’s career in law enforcement began on August 16, 1996. He served a patrol officer and sergeant for the department for the past fourteen years.
“I have been a firefighter since October 1982 and enjoy my work serving the citizens of Bremen. The Tow of Bremen is a supportive, close-knit community. I am fortunate to be born and raised in this town and share in Bremen’s rich traditional of high standards. I feel honored to be selected to continue the greatness of this position and look forward to lead the department in protecting and serving this great town.”
Chief Kile continues to serve as a volunteer fire fighter for the Town of Bremen. He is a member of the Madison Township Lion’s Club and is a parishioner of St. Dominic Church. Brad and his wife, Lisa Soto Kile resides in Bremen.
