On Monday August 17, at 4:04 p.m. Bremen Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of West North Street in Bremen on a report of a property damage accident in which one party left the scene. During the investigation officers located the suspect vehicle in the 500 block of South Whitlock Street in Bremen and believed the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Richard Andrews 40 of Waterloo, Indiana was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Operating While Intoxicated, Endangering a Person and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
On Monday, August 17, at 10:13 p.m. officer’s made a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle at West Plymouth Street and Bowen Avenue in Bremen. During the investigation officer’s discovered that the operator of the vehicle was unlicensed. Axel Orellana Sandoval, 22 of South Bend was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Operated a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
