Bremen_PoliceIt was a busy week for the Bremen Police Department.  Chief Matt Hassel released the activity report for January 9th to January 13.

Bremen officer issued a total of 13 traffic warnings, 3 traffic citations and 3 ordinance violations.

There were three accidents reported to the Bremen Police Department, on January 9th a personal injury accident on Dogwood Road north of U.S. 6, on January 12th a property damage accident that only required the exchange of information at 3659 Destiny Drive and on the 13th a personal injury accident at High Road and U.S. 331.

Bremen officers made several arrests last week, on January 9th a warrant was served on Christopher Blakely of Bremen, on the 10th Scott J. Cox from Akron was arrested for operating while intoxicated with a .15% of higher result.  On January 13th Ronald Allison of Elkhart was arrested for operating while intoxicated endangering a person, operator never licensed and an open container charger and on the 14th Cindy Kling of Bremen was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Bremen Police responded to several fire calls to assist the Bremen Fire Department.   On January 9th for the report of gas odor at 1209 West Plymouth Street, on the 10th a malfunction CO2 unit at 2385 3B Road, on the 11th to a fire dumpster at 1016 West North Street and on the 12th a smoking water heater at 3215 Shamrock Lane.  There were three call on the 13th the Bremen Police assisted with, a structure fire at 100 West Plymouth Street, a fire alarm at 114 North Center Street and a possible structure fire on 331 north of US6.
