Bremen_PoliceBremen Police Chief, Matt Hassel released his department’s activity report from April 10th through the 16th.

The Bremen Police Department issued a total of 9 traffic warnings and 12 traffic citations.

Officers only investigated one crash during the time frame, on April 14th on State Road 106 near Destiny Drive, a property damage accident.

On April 10th Heather Tolley of Rochester was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior charge, operating without financial responsibility, possession of a scheduled II controlled substance, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of meth.

On the 12th Christopher Hurley of Bremen was arrested for domestic battery and on the 13th James L. Mitchell of Hudson, IN was arrested for possession of marijuana, operating while intoxicated on a controlled substance and operating while endangering a person.

Anthony Robb of Bremen was arrested for possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon on April 14th and Shane Wilson of LaPorte was arrested on the 16th for invasion of privacy, operating while intoxicated, operating while endangering a person and operator never licensed.

Bremen officers also responded to a general fire alarm on April 10th at 1215 Dewey Street, a brush fire on the 12th as an assist to Bourbon at 6029 7th Road and a field fire at 6472 6A Road and another field fire on the 15th on Grape Road between 3rd and 4th Roads.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
