Bremen_Police_black SUVBremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released his activity report for July 24th through the 30th.  Officers issued a total of 82 traffic warnings and 18 traffic citations. 

Bremen officers investigated two accidents, on July 24th a personal injury crash at Plymouth and Bowen Streets and on the 27th, a property damage accident in the 100 block of Plymouth Street. 

There were five arrests during the reporting period.  On July 25th Jason Ellis of Valparaiso was arrested for no insurance with a prior charge and on the 26th Gregory Andrews of Bremen was arrested of Operating While Intoxicated.  On the 28th Phillip Cazallis of Osceola was arrested for OWI and so was Luke Mitchell of Mishawaka.  Natasha Wright of South Bend was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a prior charge.

The Bremen Fire Department had a number of calls including on July 24th they responded to a personal injury accident at Plymouth and Bowen Streets.  On the 26th two calls, a personal injury accident at Plymouth Goshen Trail and Miami and a dumpster fire at 1849 Dogwood Road.  On July 28th there were two calls to 1074 US 6 for a false trip and a false alarm.  July 29th sent Bremen Firefighters to Fir Road north of 5th Road for a field fire and on the 20th they stood by at the LaPaz Fire Department for an assist.
