On Tuesday, May 26, at 10:50 a.m. Bremen Police Officer Matt Schnaible made a routine traffic stop on a vehicle at US 6 and State Road 331.
During the investigation it was discovered that the driver was a habitual traffic violator. Martin Guzman, 48 of South Bend was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of being a Habitual Traffic Violator with a lifetime suspension. His bond was set at $1,505. It was paid about 4:30 in the afternoon and he was released with a Marshall Superior Court I date of June 23rd.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
