The weekly Bremen Police Department activity report was released on Friday, October 16th. The reporting period is for October 9th through the 15th. Bremen Police Officers issued a total of 69 traffic warnings and 16 traffic citations.
The Bremen P.D. responded to two traffic accidents during the reporting period, on October 9th at High Road and State Road 331 for a property damage crash and on the 14th in the Dairy Queen parking lot at 1141 West Plymouth Street for another property damage crash.
Bremen Officers made two arrests from October 9th through the 15th. On October 9th Brenda M. Conley of Medaryville was arrested on a warrant and Possession of Synthetic Marijuana. Bremen police also arrested Jonathan Edwards of Bremen on October 13th for two warrants for Failure to Appear.
The Bremen Fire Department responded to three calls during the reporting period. On October 11th Bremen Fire was dispatched to a field fire at 357 Elm Road. On Oct. 13th the responded to Charleston Corp. at 1849 Dogwood Road for a dumpster fire and on the 15th to Burger King at 1436 West Plymouth Street for a fire and heavy smoke.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
