Matt Hassel, Chief of the Bremen Police Department released his activity report for July 31 through August 6th.
The Bremen Police Department issued a total of 17 traffic warning and 59 traffic citations. There were no crash reports although officers did make three arrests. Wendy Hutson of Michigan City was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a Prior on July 31st. On August 1st Bremen officers arrested Kristi D. Kling of Bremen for Operating While Intoxicated and on the 2nd Jeffery A. Lentz also of Bremen was arrested for OWI and OWI Endangering.
The Bremen Fire Department responded to four calls during the reporting period. On August 1st they were called to US 6 and SR 331 for a call fire. On August 2nd the Bremen Fire Department responded to a dumpster fire at 1849 Dogwood Road and on the 4th they were dispatched to 7869 Plymouth Goshen Trail for an unknown motorcycle crash and for a medical assist call to 209 North Montgomery Street.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
