Bremen_PoliceThe Bremen Police Department had a busy week July 17th through July 23rd.  Officer wrote 51 traffic warnings and issued 24 traffic citations.

Bremen officers responded to two property damage accidents, on July 18th at 1209 West Plymouth Street and on the 22nd at the intersection of Plymouth and Jackson Streets.

Four arrests were made during the reporting period, on July 17th Moises Quintana of Bremen was arrested for Operator Never Licensed and False Information.  On the 18th Juan Ramon of South Bend was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person under 18 times 3, Neglect of a Dependent times 3, Operator Never Licensed and Operating While Intoxicated over .08% and below .14%.  South Bend’s Andrew Landis was arrested for Possession of Marijuana greater than 30 grams and Driving While Suspended with a prior charge and on July 23rd Blake Spindler of Warsaw was arrested for Driving While Suspended as a misdemeanor.

The Bremen Fire Department responded to a commercial fire alarm at 1215 Dewey Street on July 17th and on the 18th to an unknown injury crash at 3A Road at North Shore Drive.  They were also dispatched to assist Madison Township with a residential fire alarm on July 19th at 6870 Elm Road and another assist to Madison Township for a grass fire on the 23rd on Fir Road between Patterson and Riley Roads.

 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
