Bremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released the activity report for his department for January 23rd through the 29th.
Bremen officers issued a total of 28 traffic warnings and 13 traffic citations.
Bremen officers investigated two crashes. On January 23rd a property damage accident at the post office and on the 28th a property damage accident at Bowen and North Streets.
There were a number of arrests made, on January 23rd Michael Allen Johnson of Bremen was arrested for operating while intoxicated, endangering a person and possession of marijuana. Also on the 23rd Jeffery Young of South Bend was arrested for operator never licensed while Jeremy Housley of South Bend was taken in on a warrant out of Whitley County. On January 27th Christopher Williams of Bourbon was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Bremen Police officers also assisted with three fire calls, on January 17th a fire alarm at the Whitlock, on the 28th a carbon monoxide detector at 201 East South Street and on the 29th another carbon monoxide detector at 224 South Steward Street.
