Bremen_PoliceOfficers with the Bremen Police Department issued 67 traffic warnings and 33 traffic citations during the week of May 15 through the 21st.

The weekly activity report also lists three property damage accidents, on May 18th at US 6 and 106 E, on the 19th at Grant and Bowen Streets and in the NISCO parking lot.

Bremen police officer also arrested 10 individuals during the week.  On May 14th Steven Cogswell of Plymouth was arrested for invasion of privacy and possession of narcotics.  On May 15th Bremen officer arrested Joshua Black of Osceola on a warrant and Maria DelCarmen Triado Canelo of Nappanee for operator never licensed and a suspended infraction.  On May 16th Silviano Alva-Gonzalez of Mishawaka was arrested for operator never licensed while Devin Newsom of South Bend was taken into custody for possession of cocaine, operating without financial responsibility, possession of marijuana and operator never licensed.

Bremen officers also arrested Alyena and Robert Trosper both of Goshen of warrants through Elkhart County on May 17th.  Jose Mendoza of Warsaw was arrested on the 18th for driving while suspended with a prior charge.  On May 21st Alicia Pettrie of South Bend was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior charge and on a warrant and Joshua Fuchs of Bremen was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
