ArrestedPlymouth Police arrested a Bremen woman after 2 juvenile children were left unattended in a vehicle at the Pilgrim Place Shopping Center.

Police were called when a concerned citizen noticed a little boy crawling out of the sunroof of the hot car to escape the heat.  A little girl was strapped into a car seat.

When the mother saw subjects around her vehicle she ran out to her car and left the scene with the children.

Officer Shelly Cleveland followed the suspect’s vehicle down Western Avenue to Skylane Drive where the vehicle stopped.

27 year old Sherrie N. Prendergast of Bremen was found to be driving on a suspended license with a prior charge. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held for child neglect and driving while suspended with a prior charge.  Prendergast was also held for a failure to appear.  Her bond was set at $1,505 cash.
