The Plymouth Athletic Booster Club is very excited to be teaming up with Tim Martin GMC Buick on Saturday, September 26 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for a Buick Drive for Your Students event. “We are thrilled to be able to do this event with Tim Martin! We have a chance to raise $10,000 which will give us an opportunity to give more to our student athletes at PHS, LJH and Riverside.”, said Gwen Calvert, President of the Athletic Booster Club.
The event will take place in the PHS parking lot where drivers have a chance to test drive a new Buick or GMC. “It is going to be a lot of fun. Not only can you test drive a new vehicle, the Boosters will be grilling so you can come out and enjoy lunch with us, plus Daphne’s Dolls will be serving Rasta Joes BBQ, there will be games and for every 10th driver
there will be a prize give away!”, Calvert shared. The only restrictions are the drivers must be at least 18 and there is a limit of 2 drivers per address.
The Athletic Booster Club is also offering a challenge to all Plymouth fall sports teams – this includes teams at the high school, junior high and Riverside. “When a driver comes up we will be asking which team they are supporting and keeping track. The team who sends the most drivers will earn a pizza party. We hope this is a way to get all our students athletes involved and fired up for the event.”, said Calvert.
