Culver_Library_QuiltThe Culver-Union Township’s Carnegie Library is celebrating its 100th anniversary and to help them commemorate the event, they are making a memorial quilt which will be on permanent display in the Library’s Carnegie Room. The Culver Library is inviting area quilters to be a part of their celebration by designing and contributing a square for the quilt.

The theme should be related to libraries or books or Andrew Carnegie. The square should measure 8 ½ by 8½ inches, with ¼ inch around the edge left blank for the seam allowance. They request that no paint be used on the square and that the material would be 100% cotton. The deadline for submitting a square to the Library is Friday, April 10. You may see finished blocks on their Facebook page or for more information, please contact the Library at 574-842-2941  or erodgers@culver.lib.in.us.
