Centennial Farm 2015_KoontzEvelyn Huff Koontz received a Centennial Farm Award for her 40 acre farm near Bremen.   Her son, Kendall, (left with sign,) lives on the farm that has been in the family for over 100 years starting with George Marburger in 1910. The farm passed from George to his daughter Louisa Huff and then to Evelyn.

The awards are given by the Marshall County Historical Society upon approval of a written application. The applications are kept in the research library for future reference. The successful applicant may purchase a sign to post at their farm.
