EagleScout_CameronRidddleBoy Scout Cameron Riddle appeared before the Plymouth Park Board Monday evening with a proposed Eagle Scout Project.

The goal of Riddle’s project is to mark and measure routes in the park so walkers, bikers, and runners will know their distance.  The one mile route will be marked at the quarter mile.  Riddle said, “This project will encourage the public to exercise and set distance goals along the way.”  He said the project could also be used for races in the park.

Cameron RiddleThe plan is to begin the measured walk at the Hoosier Old Wheels Shelter and travel east along the tree line back toward the sledding hill, around the back of it and then south to the Greenway Trail where users will head west along the river  to the bridge on Randolph Street and then back north to the shelter.  That walk will be the one mile trail.

Riddle presented options for the tail markers for the park board to select.  After receiving approval to move forward with the project, the Boy Scout said he hopes to begin this spring and have it completed by this fall.
