MillerDONALDSON, IN – Daniel Miller, from Preston College inLancashire, England, recently signed his National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play men’s basketball at Ancilla College.

Miller is a 6’3” point guard who shot 41% from the three point line this season and is currently in the Elite Academy Basketball League (EABL) Final four with Preston College. Miller helped lead Cheshire to a runner-up finish in 2013-2014. He was named team MVP in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He was also the team’s leading scorer in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

“Ancilla was a great choice for me because of the great coaching staff, the high education standard and the basketball program is just a great fit for me,” commented Miller.

“Daniel is a high level shooter and scorer who has had a lot of success,” remarked Ancilla College men’s basketball coach Aaron Butcher. “We know coming from a strong Preston’s program where he was coached by Malcolm Leak that he will be prepared and will be ready to contribute.”

Daniel is the son of Kate and Stephen Miller of Preston, Lancashire, England.

The Ancilla men’s basketball team ended their winning season 17-13.
