UnitedWay_2015Volunteer of the Year_CindyRashCindy Rash of Plymouth, was named “Volunteer of the Year” by the United Way of Marshall County at the 2015 United Way and Funds Volunteer of the Year Awards Banquet help March 5, 2015 at the Westin Indianapolis, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Cindy is a native of Marshall County and has been married to her husband, Bill for 33 years.  They are co-owners of Banner Electric in Plymouth. Bill and Cindy have two daughters and two grandchildren.  Cindy graduated from Ancilla College and is a Loan Manager with Midwest Ag Finance. Cindy is also a charter member of Leadership Marshall County, a program co-sponsored by United Way and the Marshall County Community Foundation. The program, now with over 300 members, served as Cindy’s first introduction to United Way. For nearly twenty years, Cindy has been actively engaged with United Way as a board member, as her company’s campaign coordinator, and as a campaign volunteer. Cindy has helped with special events and served for years on the Community Investment Committee. Cindy recruited and provided strong leadership for the 2014 Sensational Seven campaign chair team – all women!  Together they provided new energy to the local campaign and set the stage for launch of Kindergarten Countdown programs in Marshall County this summer.

Also attending the conference from the United Way of Marshall County were Executive Director, Linda Yoder, and Director of Organizational Development, Kristen Harman. Cindy’s daughter, Brittany Rogers, attended the Awards Banquet as well.
