ParkDepartmentMonday night the Plymouth City Council approved the 2016 fee schedule for the Plymouth Park Department on second and third readings.

One of the major changes was implementing rates for Price’s Memorial Pond and its shelters.   The full day rental of the entire park will be $750 plus tax and a $200 deposit.  Rental of the gazebo in the park will be $45 a day for residents and $75 a day for non-residents.  A family pass at Price’s Pond for swimming and fishing will be $80 for non-residents, $60 for city residents and $40 for city employees who live outside the city limits and $30 for city employees who live in the city limits.  An adult pass is $60 for non-residents, $45 for city residents and $30 for city employees living outside the city limits and $22.50 for those employees who live in the city limits.  A child’s pass is $50 for non-resident, $35 for resident, $25 for employee outside city limits and $17.50 for inside city.  General daily admission will be $5 for non-residents and $3 for city residents.

Also new in 2016 will be a combination public pool and Price’s Pond pass for swimming in both locations and fishing at Price’s.  The family pass is $150 for non-residents, $100 for residents, $75 for city employees who live outside the city limits and $50 for city employees who live in the city limits.  The family pass is good for two parents and their children, 18 and under unless attending classes and all living under the same roof.

The other prices stayed the same as 2015.  Renting a shelter is $45 a day for residents and $75 a day for non residents while renting a picnic site is $25 a day for residents and $45 a day for non residents.

Rental rates for the Webster Rec. Center and Conservation Club House are $200 for residents and $300 for non-residents with a $200 refundable security deposit.  The Young Amphitheatre and River Park Square performance areas are $200 rentals with a $200 deposit.
