Plymouth_Logo_2014The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.  The meeting is open to the public and comments and questions on agenda items are welcomed.

The Board of Public Works and Safety will open bids for the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant Improvements, a Water Main Extension and for a Storage Building at the Ledyard Water Treatments Plant.

Department heads will update board members on activities and projects they have, while Utility Superintendent Donny Davidson will presents a proposal for engineering services from Midwestern Engineering for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements.

City Engineer Rick Gaul will seek approval of the MS4 (Municipal Storm Water System) City Facility Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.  He will also discuss additional details on the proposed mill and fill street project for Liberty Street, Rex Street and Jefferson Street.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30.  Agenda for the meeting includes two ordinances, one to authorize the issuance of waterworks revenue bonds for the improvements at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant and the water main extension.  The second ordinance is authorizing the refunding of the 2008 revenue bonds and issuance of new sewage works revenue bonds for improvements at the sewer treatment plant.  Both bonds are to be considered on second and third readings.
