County Building_2The Marshall County Commissioners will hold their first meeting of April on Monday.  The lengthy agenda includes an update by Bart Trester of USI on the 7th Road Project and the Wetland Mitigation.

Laurie Baker and Jason Peters from the County Highway Department will present the annual report, seek approval of a road cut for the Langfelts and request replacement of employees.

Mike Lintner from Marshall Starke will make his annual appearance before the Commissioners updating them on activities and discuss the benefits of being able to continue purchasing fuel from the County Highway Department.

Karen Richey and Sandra Read from Purdue Extension will discuss the coordination for the Community Wellness program and Matt Pitney, Tippecanoe Township Trustee will seek a grant process sponsorship.

The County Commissioners will consider extended hours for Treasurer Penny Lukenbill for the spring property tax collections and Planning Director Ralph Booker will present an ordinance amendment to the Marshall County Zoning Ordinance.

Del Wenzel will be back requesting the release of the financial guarantee for a maintenance bond at Pineview Estates on State Road 17 and Jim Clevenger will present the Attorney’s report, Julie Fox the Auditor’s report and other commissioner items.

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
