City NEwsThe Downtown Revitalization Committee would like to invite citizens, downtown merchants, downtown property owners and members of the other City boards to a meeting to hear the discussion by the guest speakers.

At this meeting a number of speakers with expertise in helping downtowns with revitalization plans will make short presentations outlining their ideas.

Speakers for the evening will include Rich Davis, a veteran downtown planner and former President of the Ft Wayne Downtown Improvement District.  He will share his experiences of building successful downtowns in Indiana and around the country.

Also on the agenda are Aletha Dunston or Shae Kmicikewycz from OCRA.  They will be at the meeting to discuss State-level programming for local downtown development.

Darin Edwards is a Real Estate and Community Development Program Manager with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority and will be here to discuss efforts to foster housing improvements in the downtown.

This meeting is open to the public and there will be a question and answer period after the Speaker’s presentations.  Light refreshments will be served. The Downtown Revitalization meeting will be held on April 1st, at 5:30 p.m. in Wild Rose Moon

at 115 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.
