Infant-DeathMarshall County Police and the Coroner’s Office are currently conducting a death investigation of a newborn infant.

On Monday, September 21st at 4:17 a.m. Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call in reference to a one week old male infant that was not breathing.  Marshall County Police Units as well as Plymouth Fire and EMS responded to the residence in the 11,000 block of Michigan Road in Plymouth. The infant was transported by EMS to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center where the infant was pronounced deceased.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department along with the Marshall County Coroner’s Office is still investigating this incident.
