County Building_2The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 8:30 in their second floor meeting room of the County Building for their regular meeting. They have a lengthy agenda.

The meeting starts with Bart Trester from USI with an update on a couple of county projects.  Deb VanDeMark, County Clerk will present a contract with Knowink for 15 new electronic poll books at a cost of$32,225.

Other agenda items include the County Highway Report, three public hearings, one to establish a new fee scale, one is an amendment to the county zoning ordinance and one is an amendment to the zoning map.

Judge Dean Colvin from Superior II will discuss an agreement with ESCO Communications and Bluewater Technologies and County Building Inspector Chuck DeWitt will update the commissioners on his department activities.

About 9:50 Ward Byers will discuss a request to hire a part time employee at $20 an hour and Wes Burden from the Health Department will present the LHDTA (1206) Grant for a health education.  EMA Director Clyde Avery will present the 2014 reimbursement grant and Jim Clevenger will give the attorney report and Julies Fox will give the auditor’s report.

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
